The original TV series, Endangered Species, I art directed is finally out on Teletoon! I was tasked with coming up with a unique look that would fit in with the company's current show roster, but still stand out with it's own identity,

The show was heavily based on textures, so coming up with the initial texturing-style, was probably the biggest challenge, as things could look too busy, very quickly. As soon as that was sorted, all the other pieces fell into place.

The show was super fun to work on we had a great time coming up with the style, and feel really fortunate to have worked on it! hope you guys like it. :)

"Join Pickle the adrenaline-junkie bunny, Merl the safety-conscious squirrel, and Gull the naïve but loving seagull as they get into ridiculously dangerous—and always hilarious!—situations whenever they try to go about their daily life. They might be the most common park animals around, but in the stump that these three critters call home, they are perpetually endangered!

Karen Magnussen

The Connaught Skating club is hosting a benefit show for Karen Magnussen, a Canadian figure skating icon, who suffered ammonia poisoning whilst teaching in her work facility. She is fighting an uphill battle not only for her health, but also for accountability on the issue and is in need of funds to do so. This cause means a lot to someone near and dear to me, thus I thought I'd do a little tribute illustration of my own. For more info on the benefit show please visit the Connaught Skating Club website.

Part 1 of some figure skating life drawings while I'm staying in Montreal. Got to see a bit of the challenge competition that's been hosted here... And busted out my companion for some quick sketches.
